Lunar Rosa Part I

On Tuesday, all eyes in the southern hemisphere were on the moon being eclipsed by planet Earth. Everyone was excited to see the 'Blood Moon'.

In Chinese folklore, this occurrence is said to be a dragon coating the moon in blood before devouring it.

At 8pm, a shadow began to creep over the full moon. It sure was taking its time going amber and I was starting to think it wouldn't. But finally, by the time it was completely shadowed at about 10pm, it had gone red all over, just like the picture below.

I even watched it with binoculars and shit. It was a spooky and amazing experience. I felt like I was in a vampire novel!
